Follow the steps to set a favicon to your website

1.Create an image 16X16 pixels in size.

2.Save the image as an ICO file (named "favicon.ico").

3.Upload it to your website. Put it in your root directory and the web browsers that support favicons will apparently locate it eventually. You can also upload it into your images directory, but you will need to modify your web pages if you do.

4.Add this code in your Head tag.

link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />1.

Now you are all set. You can see the favicon in the browser for your website
