Hi, I am trying to import a excel file and update a table in the database using a simple SSIS package. I get this error and only 300 rows out of 750 rows were updated in the table.
"[OLE DB Destination [14]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_INDUCEDTRANSFORMFAILUREONERROR. The "input "OLE DB Destination Input" (27)" failed because error code 0xC020907B occurred"

You get this error because of any one of the following reasons

  1. You have a Primary key on a column of the SQL table and you are trying to insert a duplicate value into it.
  2. The rows (data) of the excel sheet may contain NULL values.
  3. The column for which Primary key is specified in SQL table may contain NULL or Duplicate values.

If you fix the above problems you can eliminate the error.
